The care my dog received on our first visit was amazing. On 11/2/23 we learned our sweet 12 year old had diabetes. Was not pleased with the services we received from the vet we had used for 20 years. On our first visit a plan was given to us about the treatment and care for our sweet boy. Thank you McKinney for taking over the care of our baby
Best vet in the Tulsa/sand springs area. I’ve been to over a dozen and I love this place. Everyone is always so kind and the doctors are very knowledgeable. Never feel judged here. Affordable.

My experience with McKinney’s was top notch. The staff was so full of genuine hospitality and professional courtesy. We arrived early and was directed right to a room right away. Even though we was in a room the ladies kept me updated and informed every step of the way.
5 STARS!! If I could give 100 stars I would! We are new to the area and our baby had been throwing up for 2 days, we didn't have a new vet yet and we called at 7 am and we were able to bring our girl in right away. We saw Dr. Metcalf and she is the sweetest and most down to earth veterinarian I've ever met! She answered all of our questions and treated our girl right away. She asked if she could run some blood work and even gave us the cost upfront before doing anything. She got right down on the floor with our girl and was very gentle with her & even praised her for being a good girl. We have found our new vet family. Thank you so much Dr. Metcalf and staff for being so helpful to us. Persephone Perry & her mommy & daddy appreciate you!
The staff at McKinney are kind, compassionate, and care about the well being of my animals. They are always there to answer questions and offer guidance. I wouldn’t trust my animals with anyone else, and would definitely recommend them to everyone.
We've taken our cats and dogs to McKinney since we moved to Sand Springs. We always have friendly service that goes above and beyond for our pets. They work hard to make sure we are all comfortable and an important thing to me is that when I am there with a sick pet, they listen and I always feel like what I say is important to them. I would definitely recommend McKinney!
We have used McKinney Animal hospital off and on with our pup. But yesterday we had to make the horrible decision for end of life for our grand dog. He has been in our life for over 12 years and a big part of the family. So we took him in and the staff and Dr. Shipman were so wonderful and gentle with Chico and with us. It is never and easy decision but to have others love your pet at this time too makes it a touch easier.
I always recommend McKinney but definitely will now.
